PSI affiliates in Morocco, under the umbrella of the Moroccan Workers' Union (UMT), organised a training workshop on the ILO Convention 190 against violence in the workplace, under the slogan "An ongoing struggle for the equity of working women by ratifying Convention 190 against violence in the workplace".

The workshop, which took place on 27 November, was organised within the framework of the project “Strengthening organizational capacities of women trade unionists in the MENA region”, implemented by PSI in partnership with Union to Union and the Swedish affiliate ST.

The workshop was a reading in ILO Convention No. 190, which was the subject of the discussion. This meeting was the occasion of an urgent call for all participants to accelerate the ratification of ILO Convention No. 190 for a world free from violence, harassment and aggression, a world where justice, security and safety prevail in its own spaces.

The participants called for equal opportunities for men and women working in decent work to safeguard the dignity of the human person and of working women in particular, in conditions that provide for men and women workers, dignity and economic security.
