The Union of Road and Allied Workers has called for a “state of alert and mobilization"

The Union of Road and Allied Workers of Argentina, led by César González, has called for a “state of alert and mobilization” against the “hollowing and scrapping” of the National Roads Authority (DNV) through layoffs prompted by the closure of its technical schools. Graciela Alena, assistant secretary of the union, said that “everything is compounded before the impending layoffs of 200 workers who make up the DNV, in the context of the privatization agency.”
