Government sits on land titles privatisation report as opposition grows

Widespread opposition is growing towards the Andrews government’s proposed privatisation of the state’s property titles office while Treasury sits on a report into the controversial move. The government is understood to be aiming for a $2 billion cash injection to the budget ahead of November’s election from selling the land registry this financial year.
