Governor Ricardo Rosselló wants to privatize public schools by bringing in charter schools and introducing vouchers to be spent in private schools. Asociación de Maestros de Puerto Rico President Aida Diaz and American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten, denounced the action.
